El siniestro se origin\u00f3 en una vivienda ubicada en la calle Pedro Vicente Maldonado (malec\u00f3n) entre Salina y Mej\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Cuerpo de Bomberos de Esmeraldas (CBE) acudi\u00f3 al lugar para controlar el incendio. Las llamas se extendieron a una vivienda cercana, pero los bomberos lograron sofocarlas sin que se registraran <a><\/a>heridos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;El incendio se propag\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente debido a que las viviendas estaban construidas con materiales altamente inflamables&#8221;, dijo el comandante Tnt. Miguel Perea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El comandante Perea record\u00f3 a la ciudadan\u00eda la importancia de tomar medidas de prevenci\u00f3n para evitar incendios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Es importante revisar peri\u00f3dicamente las instalaciones el\u00e9ctricas de las viviendas y mantenerlas en buen estado&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n hizo \u00e9nfasis en no dejar velas encendidas sin supervisi\u00f3n y no almacenar materiales inflamables en lugares cercanos a fuentes de calor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped
